FinRA is awarding the icehockey player Kevin Lankinen with the Rooster Award 2020.
Kevin has inspired young people to read by showing an example.
Already in secondary school Kevin took great interest in mother tongue and literacy by participating in whole school projects promoting language and reading. After graduation, well into his hockey carreer, he has returned to schools sharing his interest!

The ELIT Project
As part of EU Horizon 2020, a new ELIT Project “Empirical study of Literature Training Network” is launched. FELA is delighted to be one of the partner organisations in the Project and FinRA as a part of FELA.
The Project is now seeking to enrol 10 excellent early stage researchers. Successful applicants will take part in double/joint doctoral programs at a number of European universities including a training program in the field of empirical research in reading literature which will be organised for them. It is a wonderful opportunity.
